Fall is here, hard to believe!

The Post is doing great and we continue to upgrade some of our infrastructure. We are replacing another aging heating system and will replace the carpet in the entryway and banquet room. Both have seen the end of their service life.

Our golf outing was a great success and everyone had a wonderful time, despite the excessive heat. We are scheduled for our 2nd Annual Caddy Shack Scramble on September 16, 2018. Mark that date on your calendar and put a team together, you’ll enjoy it! It doesn’t matter if you play golf or not, it is a day of comradery and mischief.

November 11 is Veterans Day and we will be having our traditional Ham and Bean Dinner from noon until 6 p.m. Come in for a free meal and converse with fellow veterans. Remember, the Post will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

As always, keep our uniformed military in your thoughts. They are the best of us all.
