Winter is here!

We will no longer be offering breakfast each month. Since the church service times have changed, our numbers were just too low. BUT, every Sunday we are having an all-day wing special. This special is for in-house only and cannot be a "to-go" order. Since starting this offer, the numbers have been increasing steadily. So come on in and watch your favorite sports team, eat a few wings and enjoy your favorite beverage with a few friends!

For those of you that are computer savvy, our website (which is listed on the newsletter) has our schedule, newsletter, and any special events that may take place. For up-to-date information, this is the place to go! If you are using the website, please let us know so we can remove you from the mailing list. This is an opportunity to save the Post mailing costs.

Keep in mind we would like to see some more folks at our monthly meetings. These meetings generally last only 20 minutes - followed by a free light meal. If you feel lucky, spend a dollar on the 50/50 drawing (you can use your ticket for a free drink too)! This is YOUR Legion, so take an hour to come join us - we would love to have you!

As always, keep our uniformed military in your thoughts; they are the best of us all!

Greetings! I hope this finds everyone in good health and good spirits. With winter fast approaching, I hope everyone is staying warm and enjoying the season!

We had a great turnout for our steak fry on Veterans Day, with many vets coming out to enjoy a free meal in appreciation of their service.

We also have many exciting things coming up in the future. The annual Feather Party is just right around the corner on December 9. This is always a great time for everyone involved, so come on out and have some fun with us! Also coming up in February is a steak fry to support the LMS Athletic Boosters.

Winter is coming! Our 50-50 winners were Peggy Kruger, Jerilyn Buchannan, Becky Davis and Steve Taylor. Corn School winners were Rhonda Johnston, Trent Curtis and Randy Tate. We are doing a quilt raffle which was made by Judy Caldwell Schrock - tickets are available at the bar. Thank you to all of you that donate to support our veterans and children. Keep Tina Keesler and Trudy Manderfeld in your prayers for a speedy recovery.

The Children's Christmas Party is December 11 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm; names need to be in by December 2. The SAL is doing a bake sale on every chicken night with proceeds going to Children's Miracle. You are welcome to bake something to donate.

Remember, there is no meeting in December. We will meet again on January 24 - come join us in our new Auxiliary Room at 7:00 pm.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! God bless family, friends and veterans.

Hello everyone!

With the colder weather and the holidays upon us, our bikes are stored away waiting for spring - but we don't want to forget about our veterans. This time of year can be harder for some. We want to remind everyone of our last rib dinner on December 30. Also, a big thank you to everyone who was able to come out and help us support Alex Patton in this time of need for their family.

As a reminder, our meetings are the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm.
