The Post is doing great and we continue to upgrade our facility. We have replaced all the carpet in the banquet, bar, and game rooms. In addition, an aging heating system on the roof has been replaced along with several pieces of aging kitchen equipment. I wish to thank the Auxiliary, ALR, and SAL for contributing to reduce our carpet cost. A very special thank you to the SAL – thanks to their very large donation we were able to replace the bar
carpet ahead of schedule. Thanks guys, you’re AWESOME!!
Thanksgiving is behind us but in a few short weeks we have Christmas and New Year’s celebrations with friends and family. Keep in mind the Post will be having an Adult Christmas Party on December 24 and an Adult New Year’s Party on December 31. Both parties are carry-ins from noon to 5 p.m., the kitchen will be closed. The Post closes both days at 6 p.m.
Everyone have a great holiday season. As always, keep our uniformed military in your thoughts. They are the best of us all.
Kyle Olinger, Commander
Hello everyone, things are going very well for us at the moment and I’m sure we’ll continue on that trend thanks to all of your help. We are doing bake sales on Chicken Nights and would really appreciate donations. Simply drop off your baked goods at the Post.
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and that you have a great holiday season. Be safe this winter and I’ll see you at the post.
Shirley Helmuth, President
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Our 50-50 winner was Ned Wayne. Our Corn School winners were David Carter, Colleen Hoover, and Deb Keplinger. Thank you for your support and help.
The Children’s Christmas Party is December 10 from 1-4 p.m. The signup sheet must be completed by December 2. Ages for participants is 0-12 years old. A special thanks to all that helped decorate the Post. We could use some more gals to help with the 50-50. Remember, December 7 is Pearl Harbor Day....thank you veterans!
Happy Holidays, enjoy your time with family and friends. God bless family, friends, and veterans.
Nick Skaggs, ALR Director
We are having our Rib Dinner on December 29, so mark that on your calendar and come in and lend a hand.
Hard to believe we are having such great weather to continue riding, so as always be safe and watch out for those wet leaves.
