Hello everyone!

The post is doing very well. We have more operating funds than we've had since the days of the "Cherry Master" machines!  We have several big projects to complete this summer, including the parking lot and service wall repair. These projects will take a significant amount of money so we are in the process of building our operating funds in anticipation of these expenditures.

Election nominations will end at the April meeting, with elections at the May meeting. All of our current officers are running again but anyone is welcome to throw their hat into the mix. Remember, there are no write-ins on election day, so if you wish to run for an office you must be nominated no later than the April meeting.

As always, keep our uniformed military in your thoughts.  They are the best of us all.

Greetings and Hello Spring!

Our 50-50 winners were Natalie Glick, Bill Basham, and Deb Lambright. Thank you for your support and donations.

Thank you ladies for your help on the Chili & Soup Cook-Off. The soup winner was Dave Atwater; the chili winner was Tom Abney. They were all good, and we made around $800 for the Nursing Scholarship! Thank you all who donated and supported the Auxiliary.

Prayers to the Cindy Devine family on the loss of her mother. Prayers to the Pearson family on the loss of their mother Pat Pearson.

May is Poppy Month - please donate - it is for veterans. Also, we will have our Kentucky Derby Day on May 4th. Come in with your hat, pick your horse, and place your bet at Post 215.

We also have our election of officers in May, so put your name in. Our next meetings are on the calendar. Happy Mother's Day, Easter, and Memorial Day!

God bless family, friends, and veterans.
